Leisure and Culinary Extravaganza at Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi

When you get a chance to indulge in leisure, luxury and some culinary delights within your own city, what more can you ask for. Recently, NAVi Genes team explored this beautiful property by the Leela Group, The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi. Though the location of the property is little off, as its situated in East Delhi, but once you reach the property, you fall in love with it instantly.

Built with a very modern and contemporary look, the building and structure of the hotel in itself stands out than the rest. The hotel is fully equipped with all modern amenities and the most hospitable staff is always at your service.

We checked in into our room and found it to be spacious enough, it overlooked the entire city from the window and that made for a scenic view.

The bathroom, has a mini tub as well and the towels and bath robes were of really high class quality. The hotel has left no stone unturned to delight their customers with best of everything. Be it the mini-bar, tea-coffee maker in the room, flat screen LED or central air-conditioning and modern lighting, the room had everything one could ask for.

We explored the entire length and breadth of the hotel, all the restaurants, the pool side, the terrace and we loved it to the core. Being bloggers, we could not help but capture the beauty of the hotel as a backdrop to our pictures and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The hotel also houses 3 restaurants and 1 bar, Cafe Knosh, which is an all day dining,  Dilli 32, a Indian speciality restaurant and Mei Kun, South East Asia speciality restaurant and Cherry Bar.  While we ate to the content of our hearts at Cafe Knosh, during the afternoon, we were lucky enough to also witness an ongoing food festival at Dilli 32, Dining with the Maharajas with the royal cuisine of Mahmoodabad. And this made for our special dinner experience at the hotel

The refreshing imperial menu of Mahmoodabad offered its guests a lavish spread of signature dishes such as Kababs, Shorbas and Salans including specialties such as Murgh Mussallam, Gosht Makhana Kurma, Matter Latpata, Paneer Hazrat Mahal, Laab- i- Mashooq and much more. Each and every item was carefully chosen and spoke volumes about sheer dedication of Chef Ashwani Kumar to bring the cuisine alive on our tables. We personally loved Gole Kebab and Boti Kebab from the starters and Murg Mussallam, Paneer Hazrat and Noor Mahili Pulao the most from the mains menu. The spread was an elaborate one and still left me asking for more. You can read more about it here

After this fulfilling meal, we indulged in some chit chat at the terrace, overlooking the city life and then returned to the comfort of our room. We woke up looking forward to a good breakfast, because thats what we needed after a profound night’s sleep. Without stepping out of our rooms, we ordered for our breakfast in the room and relished it like anything.

Our breakfast, also brought our stay to an end and after breakfast, we packed our bags once again, in search of new place and new destination. But all we can say is that, we enjoyed every bit of our stay at the Leela Ambience Convention Hotel and highly recommend experiencing it. It truly is a perfect place to indulge in both luxury and savour some great food.
